menu not readable

Windows 10 - version 2020.3.12 - AMD Radeon (TM) RX 560 - 3.10 gigahertz AMD Ryzen 3 1200 Quad-Core - 8GB RAM

As soon as the simulator starts the menu is unreadable just a grey bar which flickers so cannot access anything

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance posting this for a non technical friend, I have some technical knowledge about PCs but no experience with Flight Gear
