GUI Flickering

Hello everyone!
I don't think I have posted anything here since 2016.
I have a problem. I installed the latest version of Flightgear on the main downloads page (version 2018.3.5). The the text in the GUI, however, flickers constantly, and, when ALS is being used, disappears more or less entirely. I am running Windows 10, Processor AMD A9-9425 Radeon R5, 8GB RAM, 64-bit.

add "--prop:/sim/gui/current-style=0" to your launcher additional settings box... it switches you to using the Tortola theme which is a lot easier on the GPU...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
