hopefully he will be removing all range animations from all of his craft...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

someone would need to remove the range animations from them and submit them back, too... i would do it myself but i don't have the ability to do so for numerous reasons...

Hello everyone, since we are confined to our homes I'm going to update the 737-100 (and the 200 in the process).
That being said I already have on this forum given a small patch to override the FG modification that makes more mess than anything else in the planes and scenes.

In the meantime and for those who are interested, I added

var tmp = getprop("/sim/rendering/static-lod/bare-delta");
setprop("/sim/rendering/static-lod/bare", tmp);

At the end of the math.nas file in $FG_ROOT/Nasal

FWIW: no craft or scenery objects should ever have been using that property for range animations in the first place... kill all range animations and let the LOD system do its job...

It's so easy to criticize afterwards...Initially the LOD system was not really well done and didn't work properly. ( I remind you that FG was not using OSG until a few years ago ). So everybody used that in XML files to override it.
Criticizing is an easy thing. Doing is something else.

Good. That being said, and to please the users, the Boeing 737-100 has just been updated (on FGAddon and on my site). Reorganization of files, optimization for Rembrandt and addition of Bump Maps.
