no, you didn't do anything wrong... more likely no one has any further ideas at this time...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

To help with this, it would be helpful to post screenshots, log file info, help/about info etc - e.g. referring to: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=29504&p=284322&hilit=#p284322

Ok some more info... The boxes show up when I scroll over them and dispapear when I move the mouse away... Its is for all the ill say onscreen in cockpit hotspots. The options menus boxes work fine. Thank you for the sound advice I will try that.

I'm not sure if anyone really noticed this but this user is describing the help context boxes, "hotspots", that are activated on mouseover. So far that seems to be the only issue.
Has anyone ever seen "only" the help boxes do this?

I know next to nothing about the code behind them, are they canvas?

@lonewolf, for now, you can turn off those popups in the menu under VIew/View Options/Show Tool Tips.
At least until you figure it out you can fly without the distraction.

I'm curious if the non-tooltip popups (like cycling the mouse) do the same thing, are they created using the same method?

like I said, screenshots (or a video) would obviously help ...

So only the Canvas tooltips are not working ? What about other Canvas features (map dialog) ?

PS: I haven't re-read the topic ... so, ignore if you have answered that already

In case you don't know what Hooray is referring to it is in the Menu under Equipment/Map (Canvas). Please click on that menu choice and let us know if that has the same issue as the help popups.

What about this: https://sourceforge.net/p/flightgear/ma ... /34883684/
Please check your help/about dialog to see what version of OSG your are using.
Also, please consider posting a proper bug report, filing all the info requested here.

(If this affects other Canvas features, too, it would probably qualify as a showstopper ...)
