Messed up plane models

I'm having a problem...I'm having a problem with all the planes in FG 2.0.0. All of them are missing parts & have a shitload of misplaced parts everywhere inside the cockpit. Here's an example screenshot of the Eurocopter Bo105 for what I'm talking about:

Can somebody please help? I've turned off textures & changed shading to flat in the Rendering section of the Advanced Options. HELP!

Do you have an ATI graphics card? I remember seeing something about people having problems with them since the uploaded the new drivers.

Either update or downgrade your graphics drivers. Both can cause problems :)
Did you recently update the drivers? Or did you install a new FG version?

I just now decided to change mine to 2.0.0. These are all the planes from 1.0.0 that I'm trying to load, and none of them have this problem in 1.0.0
If it's the drivers, can you PM me a link?

Try downloading the planes again. I think you might find they have been updated. If that is the case, they often will not work properly with a newer version of FG.

No, this happens when I try to load the planes from both 2.0.0 and 1.0.0 :?

Mmmmm...
This starts to get messy. Have you checked to make sure the file for the model contains its textures?

If your answer is positive you are back to the graphic card stuff. I am not knowledgeable enough to help you there.

Sorry,

This is where my lack of Windows knowledge lets me down, but, when the Mac version is downloaded there are a set of data files, one of which is for the aircraft. In that file/folder there is a folder for each aircraft, and inside that there is everything needed for FG to use that aircraft.

Sometimes, for whatever reason, downloads get corrupted and information either corrupted or not included. I was clutching at straws when I suggested you look for missing textures, but that is an obvious thing to check before trying to get more technical.

The next sort of thing I would be trying is to switch off any features which are not absolutely necessary - thus easing the load on your graphics card.

I would start with the material shaders. They drop my fps. This may be what is causing your graphics problems.

Computers can only follow our instructions. After that they are extremely logical, so try using logic to work out what might be causing your graphics problems.

If all else fails, you could try downloading FG afresh. Alternatively, change your log level to 'warn' and show us the reports when there are bits missing next time. To do this you copy and paste them onto the forum between 'Code' markers.

Cheers,
Vic

Try the drivers from http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchR ... amilyId=39 (you do need to specificy your OS and choose "drivers"). First try to download&install the latest.

Downloading additional drivers will not work, the simple answer is is that you will not be able to run FG with them Int-hell Chipsets.
