Ubuntu Jammy Jellyfish using X server, Randr, Ubuntu Apps version of Flightgear 2020.3.8.
I am trying to set up FGFS on Acer screen with menu bar and mouse active in normal view and the Addi-Data screen to display without mouse or menu bar in stereo using horizontal split. Jammy does not like screen mirroring so I run Randr setting up the 2 screens then FGFS. I don't want these settings to be inserted into any other app so loading at app level not OS level avoids that. That does a fair job but needs a few adjustments. This is where the help is needed.
1. Both screens display the stereo version with the reported horizontal displacement of the menu bar and buttons.
I would like the Acer screen to show the normal display with the active menu bar button position correct.
Both screens to load with the correct settings with the app.
2. When the Acer screen is set full screen the horizontal and vertical scales are correct. i.e. the instruments are circular not oval. When horizontal split is applied the horizontal scale shrinks so the instruments are oval (too narrow).
I know this can be done using the display settings but that is beyond my capabilities. The VR system is much more convenient in a home than a huge screen but it still gives some immersive experience.
