Flightgear AI Ignoring me

Postby bruzehual » Sat Oct 16, 2021 5:42 pm

Hello, I am very new to flightgear and I just knew how to fly a bare plane. (flaps, throttle, brake, autopilot). AI Traffic seems pretty cool to me however, whenever I enable it say at KJFK, the AI traffic ignores me and some of the planes run straight into me. How can I fix this?192.168.0.1 router login 192.168.1.1

you cannot... they are not "hot" which means they travel though anything and everything in their path... they are like ghosts and just go through whatever is in front of them on their programed path...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

That is not exactly true. It used to be that the AI "traffic" respected your aircraft on the runway and would hold short on the holding lines. Not true with AI scenarios however. So unless something has changed there are limited conditions that the traffic will honor you aircraft.
