Interfacing autopilot ON/OFF switch with tcp socket

Postby Kalai » Mon Nov 27, 2017 8:06 pm

I am trying to build android app for boeing 777 cockpit autopilot panel. I have been testing autopilot ON/OFF with flightgear property tree by executing fgfs --httpd 5400. But turning ON autopilot doesn't update the value in the node. It still shows
/controls/autoflight/autopilot/engage = false
/controls/autoflight/autopilot[1]/engage = false

You have to set the property /instrumentation/afds/inputs/AP to True to engage the 777's autopilot, or false to disengage. Your other properties are tied to this property and will adjust accordingly.

Thank you. /instrumentation/afds/inputs/AP to True to engage the 777's autopilot, or false to disengage. WORKS!!!!
