Use second computer as co-pilot?

Postby nulln » Tue Apr 18, 2017 2:36 pm

Me and my brother have wanted to do this for a while, but I don't know where to start.

I've read about dual-control, but can't figure out how to set it up.

I want to do it so there are 2 computers, but their monitors are positioned next to eachother, and they both act as main pilot and co-pilot.

Can somebody point me in the right direction?

Maybe it might be worth re-posting under the support/multiplayer sub-section as this may get some help, wkitty42 is a person that may be able to answer this post I suspect

The 777 has native copilot support. It 's not yet fully implemented, but you should both be able to control the aircraft. You need to connect to the multiplayer network. One computer with a regular 777 type, the other with a -fo (first officer) version. Select each others callsign in the 777 > select (co) pilot menu and wait a couple of minutes for the pilot's model to load on the copilot's pc. Than you are ready to go, but as stated before: it's not yet fully functional. Your nav display for instance won't be shown on the copilot's pc.
