Cannot get FG to run

Postby cj75s » Mon Jan 06, 2020 8:44 pm

Hi,
I recently had to re install my system. I run Ubuntu 16.04 LTS on AMD A6-6400K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics × 2 with 8GB ram and over 90GB hdd space left.
I did have Flightgear 2018 3.2 installed and it ran fine. Now after having installed the 2019 version it just refuses to run. any suggestions?

1. where did you get your FG from? a PPA? which one? exact URL please...
2. what does your ~/.fgfs/fgfs.log file say when you try to launch?
3. are you using the built-in --launcher?
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

no clue... the OP never responded to my questions...
