Duplicate Aircraft in GlightGear Wizard

Postby KeithHadden » Mon Jul 23, 2012 12:39 pm

Running Version 2.6 on Windows XP.

When I get to Page 2 of the Wizard where the Aircraft Selection is, the description of each aircraft is duplicated. There is no error on selecting either of these (it merely selects the same aircraft).

To repeat, this is not a problem but only something cosmetic.

This only occured after I reinstalled 2.6 a couple of times.

Welcome Keith!

Check your aircraft paths on the first page of the wizard (previous from Aircraft selection). You've (or the software) probably added the aircraft directory twice.

Cheers,

Thanks for the quick reply Gijs.

I looked at the screen and I only had one line in the FG_AIRCRAFT section. I deleted that line to leave it blank. The next page only reflected one description per aircraft as it should do. Obviously FGRUN picks up the file from a default setting and this line is only required if the Aircraft is in a diferent directory to the root.
