A400 wet runway tests

Postby erik » Thu Mar 23, 2017 1:53 pm

The last couple of days an Airbus A-400 did tests on my local airport (which will finally officially be reopened march 30th!) to see if a particular type of runway surface could drain water fast enough for the most severest of circumstances. This leads to some spectacular footage:

Twente Airport is one of a very few airports that allows these kinds of tests.
