Looks fun, but I daresay it's a lot easier to fly, having the contra-rotating rotors, thus cancelling out the spinning effect. Tus you could really just lift straight off without worrying about yaw. Simplifies landing too--with a normal heli you have to be adjusting rudder and cyclic all the time, unless you want to go into a spin.

Eurocopter (now Airbus Helicopters) made something similar, they call it the X3 (look's a bit stolen :))

This one looks also very similar, the Piasecki X 49A:

Airframe is from a Blackhawk.
