Crosswind wasn't that strong, but I guess things are a bit different with a large antenna on top.

Ah, yeah.

It is going to be even more interesting when they get the Boeing E-7 Wedgetail. :wink:

Indeed, there appears to be some serious increase in side surface area.

It looks like the antenna could be made retractable into the fuselage. Probably not worth the extra complexity/weight though.
