Would you like to have an integrated Mumble client in FGFS?

Teamspeak is not open-source, so it's out of the question.

They still have a SDK... TeamSpeak can't be integrated IN FG but the two can talk to each other.

Their license is incompatible with GPL, so no linking with the SDK libraries. Also, their protocol is not open.
To link with Flightgear, the software would need to have an OSI license which is compatible with GPL. LGPL, 3 clause BSD, etc.
Teamspeak has too restrictive licensing terms even if GPL wasn't involved.
Of course, if you know of a GPL project which obtained the SDK under a different license than the one displayed on their site, we can talk.

I believe IVAO's X-plane pilot client (X-Ivap) is released under LGPL v3 and I'm pretty sure it uses the SDK. I may not be right though.
If I'm wrong, please excuse my incompetence on all this licensing stuff.

I'm still skeptic about the license thing. And also, there are a couple of technical problems in linking radio frequencies on the server, which can be solved rather easily with Mumble, but are impossible with Teamspeak because the server software is not open source.
