Using Nasal Console

Postby varghn » Tue Jun 05, 2018 5:33 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to write some C++ code that uses the io.write_properties("some_properties", "output_file") to write specified properties to an xml file in my Export folder. So far, I've been doing this from the Nasal Console using the GUI. However, I want to be able to do this all from a C++ file. Is there any way to open up/write to the Nasal Console from the command line? I've been searching the wiki/forums but I can't seem to find anything. (Also later I want to be able to transfer all the data properties over a network, so if anyone has any helpful pointers on that that would also be nice)

Thanks

(Also running this on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with FlightGear version 2018.1.1)
