The RTX 3080, Radeon Big Navi and AMD Zen 3 mark the most exciting time for computers in years

For the first time in a long time, everything has converged, with new technology being available pretty much across the entire computing landscape.

Whether you're building a monster rig to tackle Cyberpunk 2077, getting a laptop to just get some work done, or you're a Mac loyalist looking to see what Macs on ARM can do, there are new shiny things out there to get your hands on.
[...]
With all the major players having big new launches, it has never been a better time to start planning out your PC build - though we do urge you to wait for full reviews before you decide on what you plan to buy.

AMD has not shared many details about its next GPU, but that's where the upcoming gaming consoles come in. Epic Games, the developer of the Unreal Engine, shared a tech demo on YouTube showing amazing levels of detail, including millions of rendered polygons with 8K textures accurate down to the pixel level. The demonstration also gave a good look at dynamic lighting and global illumination. This is just a suggestion of what will be possible and both the upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will make use of AMD's advanced graphics.

A recent leak of benchmark scores from an unnamed AMD Radeon GPU in Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation may point to how well AMD's upcoming RDNA 2 "Big Navi" graphics cards will perform. While this leak should be taken with a grain of salt, the AMD GPU is about on par with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. However, this puts it roughly 55% behind Nvidia's new GeForce RTX 3080.
