yup, looked to be deep inside the danger zone there...

Probably a remote camera. As I understand there were many cameras around launchsites for monitoring of the launch. For instance, such a camera was used to catch footage of the flames shooting from the SRBS on the challenger disaster.

Note, I haven't yet watched the video so maybe I'm talking through my hat :)

Looks like a handheld (it's moving) - probably a phone

I sincerely hope they had good earplugs in otherwise they'd have hearing damage at that distance.

If there had been a pad/low altitude explosion they'd have been in deep trouble
