Commercial pilot for 13 years without a license

Postby Johan G » Tue Aug 21, 2018 9:17 pm

This is basically a podcast.

A very interesting interview with Thomas Salme (Wikipedia article, permalink), a Swedish guy with pilot dreams who took the short route cheating his way to become a commercial pilot, and then did not know how to jump off.

the interview starts at 8:30 in the video...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
