Online Sim for free

Postby Smidsy » Thu Sep 29, 2016 8:53 pm

Hi all, just found this on the net, its an online flight sim, ok so its not as realistic as Flightgear but it does use google maps so the maps are accurate all be it flat with no buildings (it does have hills and mountains) i have just flown from my house in North Kent around the Kent coast to Hastings and then north to the M25 and followed the M4 to Wales and beyond, I think it covers the whole world, good fun if you want a chilled out flight without complications.

Will be interested to know pilots opinions.

Thanks for the link, I always like to check out this kind of stuff.
I had fun flying around my hometown with a Cessna, then I switched to a 777 and set heading for EHAM. When I came there I noticed some hills too :D

How did you get a 777? I did not see any in the aircraft tab. I know it is GEFS

It's nice!
I did fly the SU-35, but the [] keys for flaps did not work.

It reminds me how much I miss OSGEarth integration in FlightGear :-(

Everyday ( Miguel and I ) we talk about it. Looking forward for this integration. Good sign is that the gitlab repo seems to be active by Jeff Biggs.

Cheers
