For those who have rudder control..

Try this: take the Hawker Hurricane, get it well off the ground (300 feet at least) bank hard, pull back hard on the stick and kick the rudder bar towards the ground all the way. Then prepare to bail out.

I think any aircraft would do that! And bailing at 300feet? Not a good idea...

is this with auto-coordination enabled or disabled?
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

The maneuver initiated by pulling hard and kicking the rudder is called a snap roll. Some aircraft respond to this in a rather benign way, other (like aerobatic aircraft and some fighters) in a more violent way and some other can't take the strain and may get structural damage (for example to the fuselage or wing spars).

Here is a link to the snap roll portion of an USAF aerobatics instruction film from 1943: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbDZIGcfKG0&t=11m02s

In air combat it is an effective way to quickly loose airspeed if you overshoot, but unfortunately also an equally effective way to loose energy (that is lost). In other words a last resort after already having messed up. ;)

Mmmm yes well if you do it in the Hurricane while banking at a right angle you sort of fly sideway, backwards, and then fall into a flat spin. Which in RL would result in several large chunks of hurricane falling to earth.

are snap rolls intended to be used while banking?? ;)

I'm just happy that some FG planes respond properly to a sideslip. The new 172, e.g., dumps speed and drops like a stone when the controls are crossed radically. Nifty way to avoid a go-around if your approach is too high/fast.
