How do I become a Commercial airline Pilot?

Postby Mackinaw » Sat Sep 21, 2013 10:44 pm

Hi,
I"m 15 years old about to turn 16 and I live in Canada, I would like to get a job as a commercial pilot, on one off the following airlines: Cathey Pacific, ANA (All Nippon Airways), Asiana.
I'm posting here to ask pilots or people that know pilots how they became pilots, I did read that the best way is to go through the military, but after some talking with pilots in the Canadian military is that they get school paid for switch is cool, but after some thinking and asking other people I was told I would need to server a total of 7 years after the end of school before I could resign to head into commercial aviation, I would be around the age of 30-34 (This is counting flight school and university). I know that it won't be easy to make one, but i'm slowly started to get my Private pilot licence via Air Cadets, I was told that it won't be easy but it's one of the ways that i'm looking to go right now.

I do see some young pilots that look like they are in there 20s when I fly, but my question is how did they get to where they are?
Did they do something when they were my age, what kind of school did they do after High School?
Do the airlines train pilots after university or right after high school?
What would be a good flight school to go to or would the airline train me from nothing?

Any feed back and or answers to the questions above would be welcome, if you are a real commercial pilot, I would like to talk to you and find out somethings about being a pilot.
Thanks for your time and i'm looking forward to reading what you guys say also getting on the right track. :D

I have found two best variants so far: Professional Flight Centre and Pacific Rim Aviation Academy in British Columbia. But I'm not sure about the rules for American immigrants though. Anyway, I will contact both customwritingcompany training centers as a students' group representative (experimental group with mentoring). I will update it later.
