Karate kid classic. Listen to it when flying something with a prop.

By the same guys. Little slower.

The Beach Boys' 'Good Vibration' when travelling in the PBY...now that fits! Also 'Back in the USSR" by The Beatles on the way to
the beautiful mountains in the south of Poland. AND: 'Rock'n'Roll' by Led Zep from Cologne to Zurich in the Aero Commander!
Last not least: 'Rise' by The Perfect Disaster while piloting the DHC 2 through the austrian Alps.

Friedrich Nietzsche once said: 'Without music, life would be a mistake'. Well you could say that about FGFS!

I almost forgot: "Space Oddity" by David Bowie is very suitable for the Ju 52: 'Here am I sitting in my tin can...'

And the song for all of us daring pilots would definetly be The Beatles' "Ev'rybody's got something to hide exept me and my Monkey", where Johnnie sings: 'The higher you climb, the deeper you fall so come on, come on it's such a joy [...]'

Welcome to the thread, Captain Fineweather! It's good to meet another armchair ace who likes good tunes while they fly! Right now I'm patiently waiting for my shiny new copy of FG 3.4.0 to finish downloading, and like in flying, waiting is best accomplished with music. Right now I've got Lesbof's recent post cranked up. :)

P.S. I like that Nietzsche quote.

UPDATE: IT WORKS!!! Time to fly, b****es!

I really enjoy flying to funk tunes. But my suggestion is that you guys also check out Boards of Canada for some night flights. They are truly atmospheric, sensational and nostalgic. :)

Hello Sebulba, thanks for the tip about Boards of Canada! I think I'll save them for tomorrow night, as I'm already in the middle of a night flight over Washington. Or perhaps, a dark ride might be more accurate...

P.S. We should do a Pond Racer event in the Grand Canyon...

I heard that song earlier today on the radio! Fancy that...

Ok, next time you fire up a small plane and do something very unsafe, make sure you are listening to the appropriate music:

Lesbof! Good call posting the entire Slint album, I'm listening to it while gliding through the mountains.
