ATC Center to F-27:

Say speed!

Roger, we are doing 270 knots and that is as fast as this Fokker will go.....
TowerDog is offline Report Post

ATC (Kai Tak): "Can you see the little Fokker on finals? Clear depart behind."

Us: "Negative, we can only see a big Fokker on finals".

ATC: "Roger, hold for the big Fokker!"

True!

Tower - Be advised dead sheep nwxt the runway
A/C - Roger, will advise our catering

Probably about the most mean thing a pilot can do without putting people in direct danger. :|

i thought the pilot was looking out the side window and couldn't figure out why the passenger was hollaring to beat all...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

@wkitty: Unless that was irony: Listen for the throttle down and look for the nose forward attitude and altitude loss.

Had I seen it for the ground I would probably already be preparing myself for the emergency call (looking at the clock, guessing the crash location and pulling out my phone)... :?

yeah, no irony... i heard the throttle down but couldn't really determine the attitude of the craft... if it were me, i dunno what i'd have done... probably gotten hold of the controls and attempted to make a phone call or use the radio...

I kind of feel sorry for this guy, but still think he is hilarious.

He went to court trying to free himself from a speeding ticket... Didn't work out like planned.
