So, no reflections on the water surface in real life. What a shock.

They seem to have issues with haze and lighting - during the first part, the two look rather different, reality is much more hazy and unassuming, only after the 180 deg turn the illumination and hazyness looks similar - so generally M$FS seems to aim for 'larger than life' here, providing unnaturally clear view.

Indeed, I really like the way FligthGear renders underwhelming weather conditions. It really adds to the realistic feeling.
