I wonder how much 'up stream' updating they did ?

It would be cool to have this in fgaddon, but I doubt that they will publish it.

It´s a pity seeing this simulator being used by an authoritarian regime to develop a killing machine, but that´s the price that comes with open-source I guess. Not that I think being open-source is a bad decision, definitely not, but I think from time to time you need to understand or think about the consequences it has.

Yeah, but do you really think being proprietary would stop any entity of this nature? It might slow them down though.
It does amaze me though, how many places I see this program being used in the world and by whom.
Kansas and Ohio/Midwest scenery development.

@D-ECHO,
If they didn't use FlightGear, they would use something else. Pretty much all governments use sims for the development of their "killing machines"... and perhaps more have used FGFS, we just don't know about it.

Besides, it is very likely that they are using FGFS only as the visual head for their sims, and that the actual flight dynamics and aerodynamics are being performed by something else.

Kind Regards,
Josh
