Hi Flightgear Fans,

FGFS 2.12.0 starts on my desktop. Great performance I think. But I want to know something about the poi.dat.gz in the folder fg$root/dat/Navaids/.

For what feature of FGFS it´s using for ?

I think I missed something.

Please give me support

Your faithfully (MfG)

that's points of interest - used for example in the map dialog and some other places - disabled for performance reasons on some platforms IIRC.
Please don't send support requests by PM, instead post your questions on the forum so that all users can contribute and benefit
Thanks & all the best,

First, congratulations for a successful release! 8)

One single question (and I'm sorry, if I'm not the first to ask)

What about the torrents? There are only 2.10's...
I'm waiting to seed the new files! I guess I alone seeded about 1.5 TiB since 2.10.... ...meaning there's quite some demand for torrents. (regards to my ISP...)

Cheers
chris

The torrents aren't official maintained, as far as I know. If there's something or someone who needs to be poked to update them, it's not something any of the core developers are aware of.

Curt had this to say:
I notice the bittorrent links will still point to v2.10 until I can coordinate with ibiblio.org and get those updated ...

He's on a work-related trip at the moment, so expect it to be updated in a couple of days or so.
