I have been trying to do one snapshot release (for windows) every week -> attempting to do this on mondays. Reality is that I have been averaging about 2 releases per month. So we certainly could mention these in the newsletter, but we release more often than the newsletter so it's probably not the best primary location for this information.

well, the newsletter usually ends up being edited for a duration of at least 4 weeks, during that time it usually gets already viewed hundreds if not thousands of times. For instance, the upcoming newsletter has already been viewed/read 1100 times, that is 2 weeks BEFORE being "officially released".
So I wouldn't really be concerned about the newsletter being possibly released less often than the snapshots.
Please don't send support requests by PM, instead post your questions on the forum so that all users can contribute and benefit

<OT>
I found out, why my server kept interrupting the downloads! Apparently it wasn't a bug, it was a feature! My hosters had some apache plugin installed, which intentionally killed bigger downloads. The reason was, there aren't any filesharing options in my server package. Simply a web server. They kindly removed it at my request... :roll:
If I ever get my hands on these guys... I mean, what am I paying for... :evil:

Is the lastest snapshot release the v20120105? It's the most recent I can find on the download central and in this topic...

The official release 2.6.0 is more up to date (half february). Those snapshots provided pre-releases, so right now you want to install 2.6.0 ;)

You might want to check the links on the top right of the page (Windows/MacOS...)

Cheers
