Multiplayer Is Not Working For Macs

Postby ACE 007 » Thu Jun 24, 2010 3:30 pm

As some of you may have noticed, I have seemed to have been on a two (maybe three?) month long hiatus from FlightGear. That is not true. I may seem to be inactive but really I've been trying to get FlightGear 1.9.1's multiplayer to work on my Mac. So far, not a single MP Server works for me. That's why I haven't been flying with any virtual airline. Any suggestions? Can somebody make a fix to the servers?

Nothing is wrong with the servers (atleast with most of them), so it must be something on your system.

- Made sure you firewall isn't blocking a connection?
- Tried both leaving the IP in the command empty or using yours?
- Enabled AI models?
- Any errors output in the console?
- Did it work before, with 1.9 on your system? Nothing changed in between? No new firewall?

Also, I heard rumours that Mac defaults to serv02, which does not accept US-IP addresses. Did you check that?

The default is 02 until you change it.
