Reading MP position message values in property tree

Reading MP position message values in property tree

I try to understand the velocity and acceleration fields in the MP protocol (http://wiki.flightgear.org/Multiplayer_ ... First_part). However given that spherical geometry is not my strong side, I would like to be able to fly specific patterns and check the values. Can I read the values of the fields in the property tree either in the instance flying the pattern or another instance seeing the instance flying the pattern?

It might be easier to load a route into the autopilot and tell it to fly the route, then you can read the values while it hits the defined values.
