Why do 787s fly so nose-up?? Can't see the runway when auto landing

Your replies couldn't be shorter ! ;) To have a better view, either approach at a higher speed or move the view upwards by tabbing the mouse into view control mode, then press and hold the middle mouse button while moving the mouse upwards.

Expected picture. Pilots do not see the runway, when they use autoland. But caused by low visibility, not by aircraft attitude. Autoland is only used, when needed in the weather condition or for occasional training reasons. It increases workload due to checklists and higher monitoring. Plus less fun.

Check, that you are on the correct approach speed as published with flaps out.

I don't know … I'm afraid in these days using the autoland functionality is standard procedure for a landing !

Autopilot usually disconnected at about 1000ft AGL. If you want to autoland, you have to make sure, that aircraft on the ground choose CATII/III holding positions and airport fully equipped among a few dozen other items to be checked. So easier manually plus it is desirable to keep manual flying skills.
It is done only once in a while to stay current (every 90days or so? might depend on company procedures).

This only as a sidenote to promote manual flying and to correct a common false impression.

It's absolutely not, at least IRL. Autoland requires clearing the ILS protected area, which reduces runway capacity, so if at all possible, pilots will generally land manually.
