JSBSim missile model

Postby mrwangyou » Sat Jul 09, 2022 4:15 am

Hello everybody,

Does anyone know whether I can launch a missile model with JSBSim? I want to simulate the situation when a plane is locked-on by a missile. Can I use JSBSim or FlightGear to simulate a missile just like simulating a plane? Is there any JSBSim missile model? I search it on google about three days but can't find any :(

Thanks!

SU-15 has missiles modeled in JSBSim.

F-16, F-14, F-15, M2000-5, Mig-21bis and JA-37 has missiles modeled in Nasal.

Hi Necolatis,

Thank you for your reply. I search SU-15 in FlightGear wiki but find that it couldn't be download now neither in wiki (https://wiki.flightgear.org/Sukhoi_Su-15) nor official downloadpage (http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/flightgear/ftp/Aircraft-2020/). I check SU-25 and SU-37, but they're not modeled in JSBSim. Do you know how to download SU-15 model? Thank you.
