2D 6 pack.

Strange occurrence. On AP flight took a break when I returned the 6pack panel (narrow type) had activated itself and the plane was in descent. I disconnected AP but my flight stick wouldn't work at all, so I aborted flight.

I know how to activate the full 2D panel but no idea how this 6 pack version appeared. I wasn't even at the computer. I'm using 2020.3.11 Any help would be appreciated. I am flying my favourite Piper 28 Warrior 161.

no clue what 6pack panel you are speaking of... especially without a picture... but my first thought was "cat?" 2nd thought was wireless keyboard? had a client, one time, with wireless keyboards and there were times they interfered with each other... eg: one keyboard being somehow linked to more than one computer... that one was fun to track down...

It is a line of single instruments that appeared on top of the cockpit image. I do have a wireless keyboard but I hadn't touched it. Most of my flight functions are macros now. Unfortunately I didn't capture the image, thinking about saving flight.

Is it perhaps the 2D instrument panel? If so Shift-P should toggle it on/off.

No it was just a single line of instruments not a full cockpit. I hasn't come back again.

It might have been the alternative 2D panel. You can switch between them by pressing Shift-S (and enable/disable the 2D panels altogether with Shift-P).
