PA28-161 heading indicator unreadable

Postby dsowerby » Fri Aug 06, 2021 9:21 pm

I am using the Piper PA28-161 Warrior II, and its a very good replica of the real thing, but I do have one issue with it.

I just cannot read the heading indicator (direction indicator). I am using decent monitor, but just find the presentation of that one instrument unreadable. I've looked around the aircraft config but cannot see any alternative settings.

In a pinch you can zoom in and out with x and Shift+x and drag the view with the right mouse button.

that's what i was thinking...

i'm not aware of any settings that would make one thing render better or worse than its default... i mean, bad/rough textures cannot be made better/cleaner by changing a setting... the texture is still the same... perhaps the textures on the instrument need some love and they could be physically higher resolution?
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

What resolution is your monitor?

I set the POV in opening settings @ 68.3 and all instruments perfectly in focus.
