METAR and launcher

This morning while round robin testing the Citation on ILS, it was thundering and METAR had produced overcast conditions with an abundance of cumulous.

But on the second flight, skies were clear, despite the fact that weather conditions showed Live Data, METAR indicated Data Valid, and accurately described present conditions.

However, when I clicked on METAR Description, the clouds popped back up automatically.
