there's no sid, no airways on a320

there's no sid, no airways on a320

Postby a330KE » Thu Mar 18, 2021 4:47 pm

why a320 don't have sid?

and, I set sid none, and go to airways, type 'Y711', which used in Korea, and mcdu just print 'not allowed'.

what should I do?

a320 developer must fix this problems. you should have added sid / star in every airport. MSFS can add sid or stars,

But flightgears? "NONE."

To get SIDS and STARS in the MCDU, you have to buy a navigraph subscription and use the Level-D 767 procedures.

Yeah, you can say that again, but flightgear is distributed on free. Many flightgear users enjoy flightgear for FREE.
So, why I BUY a new charts for FREE FLIGHTGEAR? aren't you think that is a ridiculous? without no 767 blabla navigraph,
I can just buy a MSFS2020, Xplane or PMDG, and that's more realastic and comfortable than a flightgear.

Do you have no idea? Then you should not have posted your useless solution. Don't do that again. It is very parallel behavior.

Hey, please be courteous on this forum. We're all here because we're doing something we love and we have a common interest. If you don't want to use Flightgear, fine, no one is forcing you to. You can buy a better payware sim if you want, i.e. X-plane, MSFS 2020, P3D, and get SIDS and STARS in the MCDU for free. Regarding the SIDS and STARS for Flightgear, there's no option that I know where you can get the entire FMS data for free, unless you make your own. See this post for more info: viewtopic.php?p=382769#p382769

Kind Regards,
Delta

Is that a order? My hourly wage is 100€. Is this okay for you?

FG can also add SID and STARS, but only if you put the information in.
Where is the problem?

Realy? 'MSFS2020' and 'realastic' expressed in one breath is a joke.
But yeah, buy it and be happy.

The answer wasn't useless. It includes the information how you reach the file that you want.
If you dont want pay for it, you can also write it your self.
Search the internet for 'eAIP' (most are free available), download the procetures and write the xml-files that describe all SIDs and STARs.
Where is the problem?

Reaaaaally sorry VIP Devoloper!! I didn't know that your work is elegant, graceful, and sophisticated!
And thank you for your excellent opinion, I encouraged to buy a brand-new Xplane! Thank you very much!!

And you said 'MSFS2020 + realistic' is a joke, It's a correct partly. :D With PMDG, MSFS2020 can overwhelm flightgear. It's little bit higher than a hundred euros, but there's no subscription fee. In fact, I'm not interested in FS2020, but your opinion about MSFS is quite helpful haha Thank you very much!

So you rather pay "a bit higher than a hundred euros" for a Sim and probably another couple of hundred for numerous addons to get the stuff half-way looking good, than paying 30€ a year (is that the current price?) for literally the ONLY content you would ever need to pay for in flightgear? The world of commercial flightsimming is really strange to me.

No, I will not.

You can just go play MSFS2020 then.

I'm not buying everyone a license and I am certainly not going to break the law by redistributing Navigraph data illegally.

It is not my problem if you don't like this, seeing you prefer unrealistic games I'm sure you'll be very happy in MSFS2020.

This is best treated as satire, once you look at it this way, it becomes funny ;)

By the way if you want up to date data for other simulators you also have to pay ...

lego :
You are faster than me :)

a330KE :
You have 3 basic options with SID/STAR in FG :
- buy Navigraph subscription. It is my solution 5 years (2 years in FG, 1 year in FSX and PMDG 737, last 2 years in P3D and PMDG 737 and FSLabs A320, because supplied FMC data are very old)
- search this forum and You will find procedures for many large airport, but probably bit obsolete
- make own procedures by free approach charts flying on the Web

FMS data from Navigraph are licenced, can't be used free in open source project.

And some words about realism in the FG :
A320family is best and most complete modern airliner in FG with overall quality very comparable with 160 EUR FSLabs A320X. Out-of-the-box Airliners in MSFS are joke about realism :(. That sim is focused on GA aircrafts.

Hello

I would not have lost my time in answering this guy; he is obviously in free provocation ! he did not come here to find a solution but only to shoot FG down in flames. I have seen for 1 year the time you spend on developing such a good sim and I thank you for that.

Actually, that's not entirely true...

Navigraph has given an a bit out-dated version to some opensource projects (see little nav map)

But that only has happend cause the developer asked for it and they came to an agreement.

Thx for refinement. SimBrief uses Navigraph 1903 too, if I have correct info, it is result of the some agreement.
