AI wingman randomm movements

Postby MosesKhan » Tue Dec 10, 2019 9:05 pm

Hello everyone,,
I have successfully set up some nice formations however I am annoyed by the pseudo-random movements the wingmen make, especially when trying to capture screenshots while maneuvering. Even when straight and level using autopilot the wingmen are still doing some weird gyrations. Is there a way to control their random movement and/or any lag in their maneuvering behind the lead? I tried messing with the <coefficients> parameters but these seem to have no affect and I can find no documentation to explain their purpose.

In case it matters, I am using v2.4 on OSX.

Thanks in advance.
Moses.

FG v2.4.0 is 8 years old... it is highly suggested that you update to a newer version... if you're really not using that old version then please use the proper full version number when discussing FG ;)

"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
