Bluebird controls

Postby VicMar » Mon May 27, 2019 11:21 am

I've just downloaded the Bluebird.

The throttle on my T.Flight Hotas X works, but not the stick. I don't have either 'Home' or 'End' on my keyboard.

Can someone tell me how to make it gain and lose altitude on a Mac?

Thanks in advance.

Found it after a lot of experimentation.

With minimum throttle, I pressed the down key, which lifted the nose. Once the Bluebird is off the ground, the stick works.

She flies at just under 1000 knots, so the fun can start now.

hit the [ and ] keys to adjust the power band used... you can go much much faster than 1000kts ;)
there are some limits, though... you have to be above certain altitudes to achieve orbital speeds...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
