Cristobal, hope you will reconsider. I've been working on getting some older planes fixed, as they now have problems, running on 2018.3.2. Have received kind and patient help from maintainers, when available. In a few cases, with no maintainer remaining,, have received helpful advice from development. But if I want continued use of that particular aircraft, it then becomes a do-it-yourself project, not so easy with my limited abilities. Such is the price of progress.
Kind Regards :)

Don't take Flightgear so seriously. Prefer older versions myself as my graphics card isn't happy in Flightgear 2018.
If you find a plane that doesn't feel right you can often tweak the FDM to make it behave!
The good old C152 works equally well in really old Flightgear 0.9.10 and all versions up to 2018 !
The C150 in this video has the engine fitted from the C172 FDM. So it's climb rate is vastly improved.
The elevator wouldn't hold the nose up when flying upside down but a few tweaks to the elevator code soon fixed that!
Now it really is fun to fly!

Just to mention that the OP hasn't logged in since their original post, so it's unlikely they've read anything anyone has written.

I still think it important for others that might be influenced to be educated instead.
