IDG-A32X Replay

Postby Ivan-Pekar » Fri Oct 05, 2018 7:54 pm

Hello,
When I use 'Instant Replay' on the IDG-A32X, I have noticed that, when landing, the spoilers aren't opened, despite them being armed. In normal time, I see them opened, but not in replay.
What could the issue be?

Thanks,
Ivan

This is because each and every control surface, including individual spoilers is modelled custom. Please update the plane, I fixed this a while back.

Replay does not always show exactly how you flew the plane and may miss out controls you know you operated such
as reverse thrust or speedbrake deployment. If you make videos of your flight you will find some Replay footage can be
used but other sequences are best captured in real time by screen recorder. Aerobatics, especially loops and rolls, won't look realistic in replay so are best captured by screen recorder as you fly them!

Hi sim.
that is unrelated.

It depends fully on whether the aircraft authors used custom systems or generics. Generics will be recorded automatically, while custom stuff has to be setup properly for recording.

We do not fully support the instant replay system, due to the extreme complexity of the A3XX aircraft. This is why the system automatically resets to Cold and Dark after ending replay, because the replay "confuses" many of the onboard computers.

Thanks IDG For explaining. No problem with idiosyncrasies of the recorder. For vidio making there is always a workaround.
Some recorder stuff works fine and the rest finishes up on the cutting room floor along with the inevitable aeroplane prangs. Pilot error of course!
Luckily FG is more forgiving than real life!
