Slow aircraft with more forward visibility than the C172P?

Both myself and my grandson are improving on the Cessna C172P.

My grandson's problem is that he's always trying to see over the top of the instrument panel. I'm much taller of course.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some other slow aircraft that have more forward visibility? Obviously they would need to be supported by FG.

Obviously, we don't know the aircraft attitude, but it certainly seems to have more forward visibility than the C172P.

cant gt much more visibility while inside the cockpit than the Optica:-

@OldGrantonian2 Did you try moving the default view a bit? That might give you a bit more visibility. This is the default view:

I hope your referring to the real life aircraft as your personal height doesn't effect what you see on a computer screen?

With that said, as gsagostinho demonstrated with images, you can adjust your view position.
In the next version, maybe 3 months out, we plan to install adjustable seats to help with this issue. This will allow you to set a persistent seat position.

The images provided by gsagostinho look good. I tried to reproduce that behaviour using R-click with mouse and dragging. But that simply rotates the complete image about a transverse axis - probably passing through the seat.

I need to emulate an "adjustable seat" on a vertical axis, as suggested by wlbragg. How do I do that please?

Right click the mouse to put it in the mode that controls view, then with the middle mouse button down moving the mouse up or down will move view up or down, left right will move view left or right.
ctrl key + middle mouse down moves view fore and aft with mouse movement up and down.

I also love that view, that's what I use the most when flying

One of the reasons I like helicopters is that they really offer a terrific view onto the terrain - not the least because the attitude in level flight makes you look downward
