Beechcraft B1900D Transponder contro

Postby eric » Sun May 27, 2018 9:04 pm

I made it all the way through the Beechcraft B1900D checklists... except for one item: the Takeoff checklist says to set the Transponder to Mode ALT but I can't find the Transponder dial anywhere. Where is it? The closes thing I could find was the XPNDR Normal/Override switch on the Avionics panel (but it isn't functional).

Thanks in advance!
Control tower to a 747: “United 239 heavy, your traffic is a Fokker, one o’clock, three miles, Eastbound.”
United 239: “Approach, I’ve always wanted to say this… I’ve got the little Fokker in sight.”

use CTRL-C to turn on the yellow hilights for the clickable switches, sliders and knobs... see if you can find it that way... i haven't been in the b1900d in a while so i can't tell you off the top of my head...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

CTRL-C reveals about 3 controls. Thanks.

Hi
Were you able to figure out how to use the transponder in the Beechcraft?
