Airbus VOR/DME and NP approaches:
lateral guidance TRK (not HDG!) mode for wind correction
vertical guidance FPA (not V/S!) with FD off ("birdie" in PFD)
The appropriate FPA can be found in the profile section of the approach plates. Hopefully the A320 FPA is modelled correctly with decimals which is crucial for descending precisely.
