Issue loading planes

Postby jimmyc » Sat Nov 25, 2017 11:32 pm

Hello All,

I tried to search however didn't seem to find anything. I am sure that this is something silly that I am doing rather than a problem with the program.

When I try to load a new flight at any airport, the plane appears to crash straight into the ground, a noise plays as if something has broken and when I look at the plane it appears to be stuck in the ground. It seems very strange. I've recorded some video footage of it if that helps to explain what I mean - https://youtu.be/fZELwF4wtew

Is there a setting that I need to set prior to trying to start the simulator?

  • what OS (Windows Xp/Vista, Mac etc.) are you running? Windows 10
  • what FlightGear version do you use? 2017.3.1
  • what graphics card do you have? Intel Core i7 integrated graphics
  • does the problem occur with any aircraft, at any airport? Yes, it appears to be any aircraft at any airport
  • where did you download your aircraft/scenery from? flightgear.org
Any ideas would be appreciated

Thanks

James

Enable terrasync in the launcher, to download scenery, or download it manually through the Download page on www.flightgear.org.
