How to disable failures on the Boeing 707?

So, with the 707 I constantly get different failures popping up when Im in flight. Even when I go through all the checklists. And when a failure does happen, I will perform the right action to fix it, but I still get the same failure warning. Due to this I crash a lot. I am hoping someone can tell me how I can just turn off the settings for failures. Can anyone help?
