Blank active menu item

The active menu item text is either invisible or it's the same shade of gray as the menu background so it appears to be invisible.

ThinkPad Edge E545

AMD A6-5350M 2.9GHz 2-core CPU
AMD/ATI Radeon HD 8450G graphics controller

United 239: “Approach, I’ve always wanted to say this… I’ve got the little Fokker in sight.”

This is a known problem with AMD / Radeon graphics devices. The solution is to use 'cycle-gui' on the debug menu. If you can't see this because it has flickered away it is the last item in the list.

The other known problem with AMD graphics is that on 2017.3 or earlier the rendering option for light point sprites doesn't work.

FWIW, there is some Nasal code in the rendering.xml dialog doing GL_VENDOR specific stuff, it should be possible to adapt that code and make it "cycle-gui" automatically if AMD/ATI is found.

I'll give cycle-gui a shot. Thanks!
