Problem loading and activating flight plan

Postby zacarias » Thu Oct 05, 2017 7:34 pm

Hi.
In the route manager, if I load a flight plan (previously created and saved from the route manager itself) and then activate it, all the waypoints disappear, except the first and last (departure and arrival runways).
So, the flight plan is correctly loaded with all the waypoints, but it disappears when I click "activate". When activated, I can't load it again (the "load" button is not active)

Any help?

Press clean 1 or 2 times, then you should be able to load again.

What do you mean by "clean"? If I press "clear list" it will deactivate the route, and, after loading the flight plan again, I'll have to activate it again; when I do, it clears the flight plan again.

I meant clear list. You said you could not load again due to load button gryed out. Press clear list a couple of times, then you can attempt to load it again (not that that will solve your problem though).

Of course. The problem is that it goes away each time I activate it.

Would you mind uploading the file, so can take a look?

How do you want me to upload the file? Anyway, I think it has to do with the Route Manager, and not the file in itself.

If you know better than the person trying to help you, I suggest you track it down and fix it yourself. Otherwise I suggest you do what is asked of you.

you can use this site to upload: https://www.file.io/
It will give you link that you can copy-paste here.

It is so I can reproduce your error, and see if I can track down what happens.
And if I cannot, I can forward your problem to the developer mailing list.

For some reason the link doesn't work. Did you copy all of the link? Maybe try again..

I found out why the link doesn't work.

That site allows only 1 download, so after the first person that clicks the link, it will be deleted.

To please upload it again, don't click on the link yourself, and send me the link in a private message.

Okay, I got the file now.

I looked at it and it seems to prune all that is marked as departure or destination except destination and departure themselves.

If will forward your problem to the mailing-list.

To fix the file just open it in an editor and change

<departure type="bool">true</departure> to <departure type="bool">false</departure>
<approach type="bool">true</approach> to <approach type="bool">false</approach>

For all waypoints except first and last.
