I looked at it and it seems to prune all that is marked as departure or destination except destination and departure themselves.

If will forward your problem to the mailing-list.

To fix the file just open it in an editor and change

<departure type="bool">true</departure> to <departure type="bool">false</departure>
<approach type="bool">true</approach> to <approach type="bool">false</approach>

For all waypoints except first and last.

Thanks. Now it works. So, it's not a problem with loading, but a problem with saving (since it was created via the Route Manager itself).

James on the mailing list responded:

This is a ‘feature’, the intention is that these should always be recomputed from the data at runtime. But I realise not everyone would agree with this.

In particular, if there’s no procedures available, then the only points we can re-build are the runways.

I can see if it’s possible to preserve the loaded data, but any change to the configuration (departure or arrival airport or runway) will clear those parts.

FRom the mailing list:

Okay, just pushed this fix to next - when cloning or loading a plan, we don’t mark the arrival or departure as changed any more, so the existing ones are preserved. If you change the arrival or departure info they will still be cleared of course.

We could potentially back-port this, if people think it’s worth it.

Kind regards,
James
