flys great except......

OS = windows 8.1
HW = dell insperion 3000 series
Video = amd radeon r4 graphics 1.80 ghz.
Ram= 8gb
Started by = fgfs --launcher
Flightgear version= 2017.2.1
Aircraft= cessna c172p and cessna citation 550

recently, the program exhibits two problems. unresponsive flight controls during taxing, take-offs and landings. the aircraft becomes completely uncontrollable on final approach close to touchdown-either before or after flying over the beacon. this thing takes on a mind of its own. and, fights like it doesn't want to land. i have tried adjusting the weather option-switching to fair weather with no wind. i'm beginning to think i'm being hacked by downloading scenery automatically. any thoughts or solutions are appreciated. this version worked great when first installed. it seems that has deteriorated over time. if that's possible.

One thing that comes to mind is, disable auto-coordination.

Code: Select all
--disable-auto-coordination

you're certainly not being hacked by scenery downloading... have you checked your cabling to ensure your controller is plugged in firmly? have you tried it in a different socket?
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
