Bronco OV-10 armament problem

Postby dilbert » Wed Aug 02, 2017 11:02 am

Add-on Bronco OV-10
To fire rockets the Armament Procedure in the WIKI operations manual calls for using the Weapons Release Button; whereas aircraft "Help"calls for pushing the spacebar,
With Master Arm Switch "on" and Station 1 Lau 68 switched to "fire", the entire set of stores drops, regardless of whether the spacebar is depressed or the "Weapons Release Button" pushed. :(

I don't get it. with 2017.2.1,Intel I3, and WIN10., it works exactly as described above-spacebar drops everything.
Yet with 3017.2.1 AMD A-4 and WIN 10, it will drop stores selectively when a station is switched to drop. Makes no sense. :?

On I3 machine, which initially dropped everything when space bar depressed, found could drop selectively if master arm switch was turned off prior to ordnance selection (it's on in default). :)
Still get no rocket firing. Somehow got right hand pod to fire one time on my ancient Celeron machine using same technique, but haven't gotten it to fire since. Don't understand why one machine should be any different than the others. All are using a copy of the same 2017.2.1 download and WIN 10. Makes no rational sense. Something different happening in the launchers? Like this bird and wish I could get the armaments to work consistently.

Now that I've gotten it to run, have found rockets fire correctly in the Black Pony version. However, what it shoots are blue and yellow airplanes, indicating a missing rocket model. :?
There is a Lau68.rgb file; but it doesn't display when a rocket is fired.

$fgfs_0.log says:\AIModel\submodel.cxx:492:Submodels: Unable to read AI submodels file: Path " "

Dave Pack replaced the blue and yellow airplanes with rockets that explode on the ground. Very nice
